I received a call at home yesterday from the National Review.  I picked up the phone to discover that it was a conference call along the lines of the Tom McClintock genre.  But this one had Rich Lowery, Mark Stein, and Jonah Goldberg.  My husband was so excited about it, encouraging me to get on the phone.  I did and after about 5 minutes realized that I was listening to 3 guys who are beltway elitists, albeit conservative, but elitist just the same.  I hung up....I'm sick of these flip attempts at humor, trashing Obama as his star falls, without offering any thoughtful ideas on how to capitalize on the opportunity and bolster our position to influence a course correction in the direction of this country.  Please please please you stupid white conservative men who think you have a monopoly on intellectual insight.  This is serious business...get over yourselves and do something brilliant.
